What is it
TubeSilencer converts the signalling voltage of the Acorn Tube interface from the standard 5V to lower voltages. Typically, it converts to 3.3V. Lower voltages (e.g. 2.5 or 1.8) are possible, should the need arise.
In addition to the regular 40 pin 'Tube out' connector (which has the same pinout as the 'Tube in' connector), there is support for a 20 pin 'Tube out' connector. The 20 pin one is plug-in compatible with many Terasic development boards (which are supported by my 'soft' Acorn Second Processors that come in 6502, Z80 and 32016 flavours), i.e. it eliminates the need for an (additional) adapter cable.
Compatibility
TubeSilencer is compatible with all Acorn Tube interfaces.
