What is it

An implementation of the Acorn Z80 Second Processor for hardware development boards.

It can run at any integer clock speed, with maxima between 30 and 100 MHz (depending on the development board). The actual performance level is four times the clock speed (because the Z80 core that is used executes nearly all instructions in a quarter of the cycles of a real Z80). Refer to the documentation for more details.

Ingredients :

• Your Acorn computer with Tube interface
• A supported development board (see above)
• My uploadable hardware design (see below)
• One or two (sliced up) flatcables (see instructions)
• A TubeSilencer (although a Terasic DE1 can do without)
