What is it

GoSDC-Atom allows you to store all your files on a single SDHC, SD or MMC flash card. And use them with vastly increased convenience and speed.

• All your files at your fingertips. Use familiar COS commands to manipulate them, at almost ridiculous speeds.
• Up to 32 GB of total storage (depending on the capacity of the flash card). More space than you'll ever be able to use.
• Completely silent (no moving parts !). No more worries about the age related failure of your tapes or floppies.
• Batch capable tools for your PC (Windows, Linux, Mac OS) will get your files on and off the flash card in a jiffy.

GoSDC-Atom simply plugs into the OS/BASIC ROM socket in the machine.

GoSDC-Atom is the Atom version of GoSDC (for the BBC and Electron).

Compatibility

GoSDC-Atom is compatible with all Atoms, as long as expansions have not displaced the original OS/BASIC ROM.

There are two versions of GoSDC-Atom :

• OSR is the standard one, and plugs into the OS/BASIC ROM socket. 12 KB of RAM is required.
• PRO plugs into the 6502 processor socket, and adds 'ROM/RAM board' and 'turbo' functions.
